Placenticeras Meeki Fossil Ammonite - 67 Million Years Old Spectacular and unique freestanding rawAn incredible rare Placenticeras Meeki ammonite from the Cretaceous period (approx. 65100 million years old), preserved in its raw mineralised state. This is an exceptional piece and contains the preserved bite marks made by a marine reptile (plesiosaur pliosaur), evidence of predation rarely seen in ammonites of this size. The fossil remains in its raw, unpolished state, with visible sutures, compression patterning, and mineralised surface textures
