The Rye, for some reason, then made its way to the USA where it was further aged in ex bourbon barrels for a total of 7 years. We rescued it and finished it in ex rye barrels for a few months. The result is a nice spicy rye featuring notes of cinnamon, pine and cherry swimming in a tidal wave of vanilla and caramel. Non Chill Filtered and bottled at 105 proof.
