Night Moves travel It's a dream to watchThese 'minute fruit bats' would dangle from the coconut palm fronds, screeching at each other throughout the day, then finally come out at dusk for a flap and a snack. While these rainforest dwelling bats have been named for their smaller stature in comparison to other members of the megabat family, such as the flying fox, I found their 'minute' wingspan of two to three feet quite impressive.
