19TH CENTURY 'PIERROT' FOUR-FOLD SCREEN lamps In 1942 – the yearA highly and unusual and unique French 19th Century four fold screen telling the story of Pierrot's unrequited love for Columbine who as usual breaks his heart and runs off with Harlequin while Pierrot looks down helplessly from a cloud. The final panel shows Columbine and Harlequin having disappeared over the hill with a celebratory hat thrown into the air! An amazing and totally original work of art.
