While experimenting with some of my early mosaic pieces I imagined what they would look like if I used transparent stone

I was thinking it was long overdue setting some of it in a pendant of its own

I create these earrings by gradually mixing and colouring layers of resin over a flat surface. Each layer takes around 24 hours to properly set. Over a period of many, many months this builds up into a block that can be cut and shaped, revealing gorgeous layers of colour. Unlike the stone variations of these earrings elsewhere in my shop, the resin has a more matt appearance. I create these
