I think it is the pleating and panelling technique used on the skirt. The Reig house certainly would have been designing at the same time and it definitely had the same high level of detail put into their pieces. This is the earliest label and quite collectible. Made from a heavy black silk that drapes beautifully it is cut and seamed to perfection. As was the fashion it is not
