I love painting the summer scenes but so much happens on our wonderful island I like to capture the rough waters and wild winds too

The land provides a bit of a bottle neck here and the sea is particularly fast flowing making the shipping a joy to watch

The original is quite large and done with an old fashioned dip pen and artists watercolours

I have been pestered by various animals and birds whilst painting on location but these crows really let me know I was on their turf
