melon and honeysuckle coming out

some Belgian chocolate coming through too

and perhaps it will be better in the long term than the legendary 1948

Le Grappin Savigny-Les-Beaune Rouge 2017 75cl Loubere Boa is a wine obtainedAn abandoned fruit orchard of aromatics; mulberry, black currant, wild cherry, cranberry notes. Secondary aromatics of freshly turned earth, baking spices, violets and tar. Refreshing acidity, bright and lip smacking. Suede like (tailored, of course!) tannins, both feather lite and supple, give complexity to the mouthfeel. Light, savoury and spicy, this is framed by 15% new wood, with plenty of bright, tangy fruit and just a nip of tannin. Tim Atkin
