It locates and seals to the lamp body over the bulb, with the clear lens transmitting the lamp's light while protecting the reflector and bulb from moisture and road debris. Supplied as the left hand lens only. A cracked or crazed lens lets water into the lamp and reduces light output; renewing the lens restores it without replacing the complete lamp unit.
