It is the sister unit of the RX 0 Unicorn Gundam, built alongside the Unicorn under the Earth Federations UC Project. The unit was originally piloted by Marida Cruz, but was later assigned to Riddhe Marcenas as either this version (in the novel) or its upgraded form, the RX 0[N] Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee Norn (in the OVA).
