A Large Early-Victorian Mahogany & Mercury Plate Overmantle Mirror c.1840-60 sub-Religion & Relics probably in the Victorian eraOrigin: English Period: Early Mid Victorian Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1840 60 Height: 48 Depth: 2. 75 Width: 61 The good quality large arched overmantle mirror at approximately five feet wide by four feet high, having the original heavy mercury glass plate surrounded by a mahogany veneered ripple moulded frame of super colour, the lower edge with extended shaped mouldings, surviving from the early to mid Victorian period in completely unmolested
