ODA ERIKA (1999) Karlheinz Weinberger The photographs in this bookOda Erika is the brilliant 1999 book by celebrated Japanese photographer Noriaki Yokosuka, documented the celebrated cult actor Erika Oda, who starred in Japanese Hirokazu Kore eda directed films like After Life before stopping acting in 2010. The wide scope and '90s aesthetic give these images a soft, sensitive feel as well as an editorial edge that the photographer is known for. Another brilliant semi semi obscure Japanese photobook.
