Having done two other covers for New Order's 'The Perfect Kiss' that consider the Wagnerian concept of the liebestod
and nobody does wistful atmospheric melancholy like Doves
and the growing environmental concern about it (and the depletion of the ozone layer) prevalent in the mid-80s
and this wonderful vintage retro pulp paperback cover really captures the amorality of the games grown-ups play
framed ready-to-hang
The Fixx-inspired 'Less Cities More Moving People' Art Print New Order Having done two other covers'Less Cities More Moving People' by The Fixx seemed to require a dystopian science fiction cover, in the vintage retro pulp paperback vein, and this showed a great cityscape in decay after the 'less cities' mandate. For all fans of new wave music, the 80s, and The Fixx, I have five sizes of framed ready to hang, poster prints, and stretched canvas, as well as an IKEA Symfonisk Sonos speaker cover.
