Bench Seat Size:S MV Cape Don served theA cast iron and timber bench sits in uncut grass at Queen Victoria Sanitorium, its slats buried under years of lichen and moss, a weatherboard building with a verandah standing soft in the background. The site opened in 1903 as a tuberculosis sanatorium on Kings Tableland and operated continuously for 96 years, closing in May 1999. Part of the Queen Victoria Sanitorium series.
