Description

The warp was long enough for a scarf for my student and myself

hand woven by Liz Calnan  in hand-dyed  20/2 pale grey silk and commercially dyed black

Would keep you warm with a light coat

We have been enjoying seeing how to make some threadings useful to us

It would be a distinctive accent on a coloured cover for the bed

Natural Cotton Scarf Wool The warp was long enoughThis is a natural cotton textured scarf, with a very interesting weave structure of warp and weft faced Bedford cord. You can feel the texture as you brush your fingers over it, but it is not rough. The face and reverse of the fabric are quite different and the more different they are, the more fascinated I am! Hand woven by Liz Calnan on a Louet Megado. Woven length: 149 plus twisted fringe. Width: 21 cm
