Bowiea volubilis can be found in arid areas ranging between East and South Africa, usually growing in between thick vegetation which it uses to climb. Its delicate entangled vines emerge during late winter, eventually dying back in autumn before entering a period of dormancy. Its plump body can reach 15cm in width while its
