Domaine de la Pousse dOr Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru 2018 750ml pessac-leognan mushroom tonesA prominently earthy and sauvage inflected nose reflects notes of black cherry, plenty of spice and an attractive range of floral characters. The intense, broad shouldered and tautly muscular flavors possess a slightly finer texture and more evident minerality on the clean, linear and serious finish. This needs to add depth to achieve the upper end of my projected range.
