The Italian fragment originally came from a church in Northern Italy. It is adorned with baroque pearls. It is placed onto a selenite slab. Selenite is a transparent mineral that is a form of gypsum. It was used to create the windows of the Santa Sabina Basilica in Rome, Italy during the 5th century, hence the name "Window Pane Selenite." The elements
