Description

It has been beautifully arranged for Trombone and Piano by Eric High

The Oratorio

Frith was commissioned to compose this work to open the Festival

Bach clearly intended that the original Art of Fugue theme was to be the final subject and all four themes would combine in a glorious climax

Range goes to a high “C” above the staff and a low “C-sharp” below the staff (octave alternatives are notated)

Rachmaninoff - Tarantella from Op. 17 for Trumpet & Piano Quintets It has been beautifully arrangedTarantella is the final movement from Suite No. 2, Opus 17 for two Pianos composed in Italy in early 1901. The 6 minute work is a whirlwind of blindingly fast and dramatic music very much in keeping with the composer's trademark style and sound. Todd Teigeler has created an excellent arrangement of this music for Trumpet in B flat and Piano appropriate for advanced performers. Free pdf Sample
