Rare Half Plate Daguerreotype Photo ID’d Thomas Hinckley Bond Pre Civil War Navy ww2 The mat is one ofRare half plate (Case, 6" x 4. 75") daguerreotype of the American politician Thomas Hinckley Bond, his son, John (1829 ) and daughter Josephine Maria (1843 1931), taken in December 1853 according to the inscription inside of the case. John is wearing his Naval uniform he was a Lieutenant in the Marine Cutter Service at this time. I believe he also served in the Navy during the US Civil War. T. H. Bond was born in Connecticut in 1804, graduated Yale in
