Rare CDV Photo Civil War Soldier Captain Daniel Clark 5th Maine - KIA In Virginia pope one of which was markedOriginal CDV of Daniel Carleton Clark (Born May 14, 1841) Co. K, 5th Maine Volunteers, who was wounded in the Battle of Spotsylvania Courthouse* on May 10, 1864, and died of his wounds at Fredericksburg, Virginia, seven days later (May 17, 1864 3 days after his birthday). He's buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Portland, Maine. Listing pics #2 and #3, a photo of his gravestone and another example of this same portrait, signed by Clark, are provided here
